  • Prep Time: ~45 minutes
  • Cook Time: 5-7 hours + resting time
  • Meat Internal Temp: ~200°F

Directions

  1. Follow the instructions in our Brisket 101 recipe for cooking a brisket. The process will take anywhere from 5-7 hours plus resting time to cook the brisket.
  2. Once the brisket has been cooked, rested, and sliced, prep the sandwich buns. We recommend lightly toasting them with some butter and a hint of garlic salt.
  3. Assemble the sandwiches to your liking. You can do whatever you want with your sandwiches, but a few of our favorite options are:
    1) Spread a little BBQ sauce on the toasted bun, lay several pieces of brisket down, add some cheese.
    2) Lay the brisket on the toasted bun and pile some cole slaw on top.
    3) Simply lay several pieces of brisket on the toasted bun and slather it in BBQ sauce.
  4. Once the sandwiches have been assembled, enjoy!
